How Learning is
Structured and Assessed

TEACHING & PEDAGOGY

Differentiated Instruction

Teaching is adapted to students' language levels, learning needs and existing knowledge. Students receive appropriate support or extension through carefully selected activities, reading materials, discussion and inquiry tasks.

ASSESSMENT DESIGN

Ongoing Assessment

Student progress is monitored through classroom participation, oral communication, project work, learning portfolios and teacher observation. Regular progress reviews help teachers identify achievements, learning needs and appropriate next steps.

Through Health and Physical Education, students develop movement skills, teamwork, emotional regulation and an understanding of healthy, active lifestyles, including basic health and nutrition.

Through age-appropriate STEM activities, students explore concepts such as simple machines, coding, robotics and modelling. They learn to investigate questions, test ideas and apply problem-solving and design thinking to practical challenges.
